Transportation & Public Safety

Meetings: Monthly, 4th Wednesday

The Transportation Committee advocates for matters concerning roadway maintenance and street repair, traffic control, transportation franchises, and public transportation. The committee also advocates for environmentally sound advancements in transportation (i.e., bike lanes, car charging stations, etc.).

The Public Safety Committee advocates for matters concerning fire, police patrol, and related matters of public safety. The committee is also responsible for matters concerning illegally parked cars with requisite license plates.

Except for holidays and other conflicts, the committee typically meets at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth (4th) Wednesday of September – June.
