The Education/Youth committee is committed to advocating for the youth and families within the district. We address critical issues in education, job employment, Cultural programs, and other areas related to the development, empowerment, and prosperity of our youth.
Our strategy relates to collaborations and partnerships with the institutions in our community (schools, community organizations, elected officials, and city agencies) to get the best funding and policies that create engagement that promotes leadership skills and opportunities.
The committee meets every second Wednesday of the month, from September to June, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Anyone who wishes to join the Education/Youth meeting should contact the community board at (718) 434-3072 or email [email protected] or Youth Committee [email protected]
