The Land Use Committee serves as first review for matters related to District planning, development, land use, zoning map changes, variance applications, revocable consents, special permit applications, franchises other than transportation franchises, landmarks and historic preservation, public and private housing, the Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD), the Department of Buildings (DOB), and the Department of City Planning (DCP).
This Committee typically meets at 6pm on the third Wednesday of every month, except during the Citywide summer recess months of July and August. All interested neighbors are encouraged to attend and participate.
