The Districting Commission has announced the dates, times, and locations for Public Hearings taking place in August.

They are:

• Tues., Aug. 16 5:30 to 9 pm Museum of the Moving Image, Sumner Redstone Theater, 36-01 35^th Ave, Queens, NY 11106
• Wed., Aug. 17 5:30 to 9 pm Lehman College (CUNY), Gillet Auditorium, 250 Bedford Park Blvd West, Bronx, NY 10468
• Thurs., Aug. 18 5:30 to 9 pm Staten Island Borough Hall, 10 Richmond Terrace Rm 125 Staten Island, NY 10301
• Sun., Aug 21 3:30 to 7 pm Medgar Evers College (CUNY), School of Science Health & Technology, Dining Hall, 1638 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225
• Mon., Aug. 22 5:30 to 9 pm Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, 515 Malcolm X Blvd., New York, NY 10037

Anyone willing to testify at these hearings is able to register using this link: https://forms.gle/2xxVw5hYLzJj82FJ6. Language interpretation is available at hearings with a minimum of 72 hours notice. Participation at these hearings is available both in person, and virtually, and all New Yorkers are able to participate at any of the hearings, not only the one for the borough they reside in.

The Commission is looking forward to hearing from New York City’s diverse communities and continuing to receive input from the public as the redistricting process continues.
