The Land Use Committee serves as first review for matters related to District planning, development, land use, zoning map changes, variance applications, revocable consents, special permit applications, franchises other than transportation franchises, landmarks and historic preservation, public and private housing, the Dept of Buildings (DOB)<\/a>, the Dept of City Planning (DCP)<\/a>, the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Dept of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD)<\/a>, <\/span>and the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This Committee typically meets at 6pm on the 1st Wednesday of every month<\/strong>, except during the Citywide summer recess months of July and August. All interested neighbors are encouraged to attend and participate.<\/p>\n
