Community Board Committee meetings are City- and State-recognized public forums<\/strong> for review and discussion of various applications<\/a> and other municipal matters within the Community District’s service boundaries<\/a>. Committees conduct these public meetings for the purpose of receiving and incorporating local feedback, and crafting formal recommendations to inform Board votes at the monthly General Meeting of the Full Board.<\/p>\n

Any issue related to the welfare of the District may be considered for agenda placement.<\/strong> Topics may originate from a City or State agency, the Board’s Executive Committee<\/a>, or through the District Manager. District residents interested in suggesting a topic are invited to email the District Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Per the NY State Open Meetings Law<\/a>, all NYC Community Board and Committee meetings are open to the public<\/strong>. All interested neighbors are welcome and encouraged to attend Committee meetings to listen to City leaders, topic experts, applicants, and neighbors; ask informed questions; and contribute ideas that move our District forward for everyone.<\/p>\n
