DESCRIPTION:Dear Community Members and Partners\,\nCommunity Board 17’s Parks & Beautification Committee will be hosting a “Healthy Eating- Healthy\nCooking Fair” on Saturday\, August 19th\, 2023\, at Paerdegat Park\, located on Albany Avenue\, between\nFarragut Road and Foster Avenue\, from 10am-3pm.\nWe are extending an invitation to you to partner with Community Board 17’s Parks and Beautification\nCommittee so that we can put our resources together to serve the community. As a partner\, you could assist\nby providing donations in the form of bottled water\, packaged snacks\, fruits\, vegetables\, and resource\nmaterials to educate the members of the community. You could also do a cooking demonstration\, or workout\ndemo\, or assist by engaging members of the community and other community-based organizations to\nattend and volunteer at the event.\nWe are also extending an invitation to you to attend this event as your schedule permits.\nWe ask that you purchase the items you would like to donate and send them to the\nChair of the Parks & Beautification Committee.\nIf you have any questions\, please call Ms. Sherif Fraser at the Board’s office at (718) 434-3072.\nThank you in advance for your participation and assistance with this event.\nRegards\,\nBerlotte Antoine\nChairperson\, Parks & Beautification Committee\nCommunity Board 17
