DESCRIPTION:Neighborhood Engagement Toolkit Training Series\nThis three-part training series dives into the Neighborhood Engagement Toolkit\, a resource about how you can increase your organization’s positive impact by forming mutually beneficial partnerships for change with other organizations and volunteers. \nPartnerships lie at the foundation of any thriving community\, and this training series will help you identify the best partners for your organization to achieve its goals. Join to learn best practices\, engage in professional peer learning\, and navigate tools that help your organization: \n\nUnderstand your community and assess your organization’s ability to meet its needs\nIncrease capacity for impact through partnerships and volunteer support\nEvaluate\, evolve\, and share your stories\n\nThis series is hosted by James Garcia\, Director of Community Initiatives at NYC Service. A veteran and municipal leader with over a decade of experience leading volunteer programs\, James provides expert insight helpful to organizations across the five boroughs. \nTrainings are hosted live on Zoom\, including breakout sessions and open discussion for questions and answers. \nAccessibility and Accomodations\nWe strive to host language-inclusive\, accessible programming that allows all New Yorkers to engage fully.
