Locally, it will mean changes to uses that can operate along 3<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">rd<\/sup>, 4<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">th<\/sup>, 5<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">th<\/sup>, 11<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">th<\/sup>, 13<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">th<\/sup>\u00a0and Bay Ridge Avenues also Fort Hamilton Parkway.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It also seeks to change the definition of home occupation businesses and will allow retail uses in certain current residential zoned buildings.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Examples of the changes, it will allow for light motor vehicle maintenance shops, tire shops, kennels, manufacturing uses, sewing shops, research laboratories, amusements, nightclubs (less than 200 people) and dark stores (warehouses with no retail component).\u00a0\u00a0In addition, changes to uses within residential homes\/apartments to add businesses like hair salons with 1-3 workers or pharmacy businesses, that can operate 24 hours.\u00a0\u00a0Corner homes in residential areas can become retail stores, elimination of the designation \u201cCommercial Overlay\u201d in Residential Neighborhoods replaced with \u201cCommercial\u201d as primary use, and much more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">Join us on Wednesday, November 29<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">th<\/sup>\u00a0at 7:00 pm at St. Anselm&#8217;s Meletia Hall, 365 83<sup class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">rd<\/sup>\u00a0Street, use door marked \u201cBoys\u201d or view the livestream of the meeting over YouTube at <strong>bit.ly\/3HLO5lw\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"x_x_ContentPasted0\">Read about the proposal at <a href=\"https:\/\/on.nyc.gov\/3uiQ50p\">https:\/\/on.nyc.gov\/3uiQ50p<\/a>.
