SUMMARY:JOINT Youth Services\, Education\, Libraries/Parks/Environmental Committee
DESCRIPTION:A JOINT Youth Services\, Education\, Libraries AND Environmental AND Parks Committee meeting is scheduled as a hybrid meeting on Tuesday\, December 3rd at 6:00 pm. Participation may be in person at the District Office (preferred) or remotely over Zoom.  Committee Members will receive a panelist invitation directly from Zoom.  All others may register to participate at  https://bit.ly/Joint1203 \n  \nAt that time\, students from MS 407\, 650 86th Street\, will present their findings regarding a Sustainability Park Audit that they have worked on during this fall season under the guidance of Ms. Cindy Scognamillo\, STEM Teacher and Sustainability Coordinator.  They will discuss topics such as storm water control\, proper waste management\, reduction of carbon-based energy usage and community involvement.  The students are excited to share the information they have gathered. \n  \nFollowing the presentation\, Superintendent David Pretto will give a report about District 20’s Civics For All program.
